The Mountains are Calling

FAQ's

How much is a ticket?

The price per ticket of this retreat is $1,000. The retreat is limited to 5 photographers for ease of movement during the retreat and to allow me the opportunity to work one-on-one with those who would like the help.

Where will we be staying?

We will be staying in an AirBnB in Montrose, CO. You can view the home HERE. Each attendee will have their own bed but may have to share a room with another attendee.

Where should I fly in to?

The closest airport is the Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ). Attendees can also fly into Denver International Airport (DIA), but will have to rent a vehicle and drive to Montrose at their own expense.

How will we get around?

A portion of your ticket goes toward the rental of a vehicle to shuttle all attendees to and from Montrose Regional Airport, the styled shoots, and any places around town they may need to go.

Are meals included?

I will provide water and some snack items, but meals are not included in the ticket cost. However there a plenty of unique locations in Montrose to eat, places to order delivery from, and grocery stores if you would like to prepare your own food in the kitchen of the AirBnB.

When and where will we be shooting?

Plan to attend at least 3 styled shoots on this trip. When all tickets are sold, attendees will have the opportunity to vote if they would like to add a fourth shoot or go out and try to photograph the wild horses of the Book Creek HMA. We will also be having informal classes and editing sessions during our down time.

Who can attend?

Anyone! Regardless if you are a professional with a business or someone just wanting to shoot something new and fun, these getaways are for everyone. I only ask that you have a basic understanding of manual mode on your camera and some form of editing software (Lightroom and/or Photoshop) on your computer.

What should I bring?

You'll need a DLSR or mirrorless camera, a portrait and/or zoom lens, and your computer with editing software. If you don't own the lens you think you'll need for this trip then I highly recommend using LensRentals.com. Click on the link for a discount from me.
